The real threat to this country on election day is that our polling places are staffed by technically illiterate volunteers who were born in 1918 and sometime mistake the gas peddle for the brake.

2. Pre-Election Gas Prices (Going Down Fast)
November draws near, the two Republican controlled houses of Congress are up for grabs and suddenly the price of gas starts to plummet.

The oil companies tell us that demand has lowered and futures buyers don’t believe the price can continue to rise.

Funny, three months ago, they said the price was more tied to "global events" and if someone so much as sneezed near a pipeline, the price of gas at the pump shot up 20 cents a gallon.

I guess the recent signs of instability in the Middle East - Iran’s refusal to halt it’s nuclear program, the US Embassy being attacked in Syria and OPEC cutting production - don’t account for much.

Just wait till November 8th when prices start to quickly move back up.
